JBH3 CHRISTMAS RUN

RUN NO: 2254
DATE: 2 1 s t Dec 11
HARES : CHRISTMAS RUN(MOH MUN TAI/ITCHY KANG)
RUNSITE: TAMAN PERINDUSTRIAN PLENTONG(AH POOI’S FACTORY)

Run No : Christmas Run 21st Dec 2011
OCs: Moh Mun Tai and Itchy Kang Runsite: Plentong,Ah Pui’s factory I got to the runsite late which is very unusual. Yes, definitely its about work, nothing to do with anything of the opposite sex. The aroma of the roast lamb was filling the air. Noticeably, few Kay Poh Chees were
helping out with the arrangements, registrations and goodies. Not a big crowd at around 80 but there were a few guest from outside chapters ie Singapore Thursday, Melaka and Skudai. Yes our good friend Babi hutan, Waitawhile escorting the GM of Thirsdae HHH. Our good old Kwai Loh took a transit flight enroute to Texas to be back to set this run. I wouldn’t be surprised that the roast lamb and turkey were actually sponsored by him. Moh Mun Tai, you have left your mark in JBHHH, we know.
First runner, Teh Kaya, sprinted in at 7.15 pm. My gosh, this is a long run, that’s what I heard in the background. Trailing behind was our club favorite, Lau Chee. Soon, the rest started trickling back.
Whenever the front runner comes back beyond one hour, the slow bastards will get hell. This is the yardstick that we used for hashing. Moh Mun Tai spearheaded this long trail expedition with the co hares, probably thinking that if you want to eat my high cholesterol lamb, you better burn off enough fat first. I didn’t have time to ask about the run and the checks etc so I could not write anything about it or maybe I shouldn’t be writing the scribe in the first place.
Our circle kicked off to the usual ritual of swing low, on downs of OCs and hash whip ramblings. If you ears can put up with this low life verbal torture, you are probably good enough for hashing. Again, I don’t know what to write because I was in a trance, a skill I learn to shut off my ears.
ON ON ON was at the famous Muar Asam Fish at Johor Jaya. Many didn’t show up but we have already ordered eight tables. So, we sparsely filled up the tables. There were plenty of food and also leftovers, I could guess that we were already filled up with too much lamb and turkey at the runsite. Nevertheless, there will be the die hards who will stay on into the wee hours of the night, sparring with the golden fluid.
In all, if you don’t get fxxked on a Wednesday night, you don’t get fXXcked at all…. If you know what I meant. Thank you to the OCs who put in so much effort to make again this a wonderful Wednesday run.

This is old ground was super familiar to all our JB Harriers and Harriets, there weren't
any grouses that they cannot find the place, except some dick heads took the wrong
turns!!!! . The Runsite / car park was along the uncompleted housing at the far end
corner of the Tmn. Today's Run , to me is a Rescue Run!!!, both the Hares weren't at the site, was told that they have escape to the America to avoid the Ice Sitting throne torture and the
all night serving services for the Hash Circle. Start of the run came to a dead end by
the construction workers quarters, as the papers trail couldn't be found. The rescue
hares came along for the correct path and off we went into the oil palms and very fast
the groups distergerate into FRB's,SCB's and Walk along .20 minutes in the trail, we
reach a hill, it was a good climb on the flight of stairs, upon reaching the top of it there
is a Chinese shrine, ran a round and all the way down hill, crossed many streams, in
and out of the oil plam trees. I came out in 1 hour's time, back to the construction site
, good run!!!.
Beer Wagon, as usual was serving cold beer, mineral waters,100 puls. Popiah were available
as EXTRAS! Cirle was called by Ice Cream with the Swing Low song. The Rescue Hares were summoned to the Ice Sitting throne torture for the good deeds they have done for the day's run. In the open floor, Flinstone gave the Big ANNOUNCMENTS of the weekend's JB DINNER AND
DANCE and the list of duties rooster to members for the night. The night cirlce was closed
early, maybe the Resuce Hares was doing a very job. We head to the Kedai Makan in Tmn.
Daya just next to the round about, Guniness stout draft was already waitng for us, Jag you
deserved a hug. Well , some opt for the good old Calsberg beers. For the night's Food we
have the following:-
1. Bean Cake with minced meat served with tasty gravy.
2. Steamed cooked Chicken
3. Bitter gourd fried with black peas and pork ribs.
4. Curry Fish head in mixed vegetables
5. Eggs with green vegetables
6. Deep fried pork.
The makan was over very fast, Ice Cream confrimed the RM 10.00/head for the dinner,
and the night collections will be a Donation from the Day's hares for the JBHHH club,
Thank you to the Kapitan. We continued drinking and singing of hash songs of the past
era, the crowd was so joyous..... thru out the night.
I adious at 10.30 pm. Should You weren't there you missed the Wednesday's night fun,
see you there next and coming weeks.

Johor Bahru Hash House Harriers Run 2250

RUN NO: 2250
WHEN: 23rd Nov 11
HARES: DEEPAVALI RUN(MONGOL YAP/JOCKEY)
WHERE: ULU TIRAM WATER TANK
HOW: Take Tebrau-Kota Tinggi road, turn left to Ulu Tiram town. Travel for about 2km, before the football field search for HHH signs & turn right. Go all the way straight till the end

JBHHH RUN # 2250 (23-11-2011)- Scribe No : 1
A CHINAMAN’S DEEPAVALI RUN
MONGOL YAP has been dubbed MONGOSAMY in order to make him eligible for the unenviable job of being the OC for this Hindraf festivity. The run-site was at the TIRAM WATER-TOWER and due floods at Desa Cemerlang creating a massive traffic snarl only a small crowd managed to squeeze through; and so the run started with a very diluted pack with very diluted quality of runners and checkers! A large tent was put up in anticipation of the on-site kenduri. The run started rather ominously with a perilous descent at the back corner of the water-tower and as we plummeted to the palms the paper brought us to the edge of the Tiram Estate main road. The handful of FROPs led by ASSASSIN HENG, IRONMAN, SEE-PAY-SONG, ANTI-CLIMAX, ONE NIGHT STAND, FLINTSTONE and LAO-CHEE sped off after the manager’s mansion and were never seen or heard. The first check was broken rather fast. This stranded One Night Stand who was left standing at the check bewildered and not knowing where to go! He claimed that the FROPs didn’t hail the on-call and didn’t connect; and so this regular front-runner became the leader of the SCB-pack which included the GM and the GPS-wielding
Money Khoo. The FROPs diverged from the check and went beyond the estate-lines and paused at the Second Check near a three-prong junction. This was where the snafu occurred; all the checkers drew a blank and embarked on a free-for-all to grope their respective way back. The paucity of paper and the paucity of checkers aggravated the situation. LAO-CHEE later claimed
that he found the connecting trail and he was the only bloke to have completed the run, much to the skepticism of the other frontrunning bastards! All said and done the run was a classified fiasco!
Back at the run-site the festivities were in full swing; it was slightly more successful than the failed trail! The finger-licking fried chicken was a popular post-run bite; together with a tin of muruku it was sure to give us a proper sore-throat! The girls helped to dole out a pair of pants; but Handsome complained that the apparel was unable to be properly buckled and his little bird kept flying out! The post-run atmosphere was like a haphazard party with the crowd all lazing within the shade of the tent. When the GM convened the Circle these coffee-shop chatters slowly and reluctantly moved their asses to the open. The cool evening was in fact perfect for circle and soon after the sing-song the GM called the OC and his co-hares as well as the Hindraf community for a general on-down. Zoo’s friend (a human not an animal!) went for the handshake-round and rattled off five names in a breath and was declared too smart to join the Hash! Whip HANDSOME was in top form and he was very sharp to catch the
offenders; COCA COLA pilloried the newcomer for belittling Hash and she ranted on with a tirade in Mandarin which was vocal and articulate and to the point! Maybe we should make her the next whip! The GM extended the Circle to well over 2120hr. Poor girl Kimchi was again singled out for ice; this ‘Sar-Tar-Chieh’ seems to be a victim of her own folly every week! Give her break! The GM rounded proceedings with a few quick prosecutions of her own. The on-site buffet was very filling indeed; but sad to say the Festival of Lights turned out to be a dim affair when the lamps dangling on the tent were only for decorative purposes! We had to make do with FLINTSTONE’s emergency illumination which he only used for his nefarious pursuits!
Thanks for the great sacrifice! NANDRI TO ALL OUR HINDU FRIENDS AND A BELATED HAPPY DEEPAVALI!

KAPITAN DAN KAPITANA

Scribe No : 2
The actual Deepavali festival has long past behind us and hashers were looking forward to the Christmas run. According to the hares, Mongol and Jockey, they have to dragged it until now was because of the Bandung’s Pan Asia. So in true JBHHH spirits, Deepavali was celebrated like it was its eve at the run site of Ulu Tiram Water Tank. Never mind the massive jam due to a not
so Thailand style great flood near Desa Cermerlang, many still made it there by road, by air or by sea not because they wanted desperately to celebrate with their Hindu’s hashers the festival but because they already paid the damage and will not want to lose it.
The traffic jam does have its effect as fewer than 30 made it to start the run on the rain soaked ground and cool fresh air. Trail was laid with limited JBBH papers like it was a ‘save the earth paperless day’. Replacing it were stripped circular papers and disfigured trail papers from other chapter. So to conserve paper, first check was nowhere to be broke until about 1.5km away
where on! on! shout could not be heard and leaving those behind either to wandered or turning back. At second check, it was like end of the world as continue papers trail just vanished in the thin air or got washed away by the earlier downpour. So even the fast runners have to find their way back until a continuing trail suddenly reappeared. All was over before dark in about 5 km of a supposedly 7 km run.
Canopies at run site were put up to prepare for a grand Deepavali reception where porridge and fried chicken were first served with Muluku as appetizer and Turle jelly! Or gui ling gao as dessert. Daylight started to turn dark, so do inside the canopies, and the festival of light is going to be celebrated without light, blaming the traffic jam again. Thanks Flintstone and friends who came to the rescue with their emergency spot lights.
Circle started later and among those put on ice were the hare that were censored for things such as the trail papers, the unlit canopies and the ‘non matching velcro’ on the shorts pocket. A big mouth guest was put on ice for saying something daring to the wrong person, Cola. Bull dog took the floor to ice the backside of those bastards returning from Bandung with many stories to tell except ‘lao sai’. Circle did not forget to wish Indomie, Maharajah, Kanasai, Pai ma and friends a very happy Deepavali. Circle ended and reception started with great Indian food buffet and satay. Delicious but too abundance, so ended up ‘ta pao’ home by Lao Cha Bo’s. Bo Chia Lan and his beer bastards also stay back to finish up the beer as unlike the food, beer can only
be ‘ta pao’ in their tummies. Depavali run ended and all left living behind the canopies, chair and tables and looking forward to the next great event, the JBHHH DND where the ‘Ugly’ Flintstone is the OC.

Johor Bahru Hash House Harriers 2249

RUN NO: 2249
WHEN: 09th Nov 11
HARES: SON OF A GUN & MEAN SEE 016- 7160414(BIRTHDAY RUN)
SON OF A GUN & MEAN SEE(BIRTHDAY RUN)
WHERE: TAMAN PELANGI INDAH
HOW: Take Kota Tinggi Road, after Taman Gaya turn left and enter to Taman Pelangi Indah. Go straight & look for HHH signs.

Run No : 2249
Date : 16/11/11
Run-Site : Taman Pelangi Indah
Hares : Son Of A Gun & Mean See
It was a birthday celebration in a big scale for both lovely couple hares of Mean See and Son of the Gun at Pelangi Indah. Rain stopped just in time to prevent many from making excuses for not running.
Hot topic before run start was ‘Lao Sai” or diarrhea with about 70% of those who went to Bandung Pan Asia suffered from it. They were confirmed as cheapskate because they only take roadside foods and drinks. Cola came back and lost a few kgs in her body weight except her busts, don’t know why. The other group did not reach home until late in the night that day.
Running trail was not long but needed to crawl up and down through thick undergrowth around rubber trees and the thorny rattan creepers. 2 checks and once your body started to warm the run ended before dark.
Maybe the hares needed longer time for their birthday’s festival at circle and On On.
Free beer all round at circle, and as expected, the Bandung ‘lao Sai’ hashers were put on ice to cure their back side. Other got on ice were Big potato for being non starter and came on a taxi upon learning of the free beer at circle and So Big for acting like a Dato’ by wearing a, again Bandung’ Batik shirt.
On! On! or rather the Grand Birthday celebration was held nearby at restaurant Fu Man Lou. 5 tables and moods were as always ‘High’ especially free beer again, thrown by the birthday’s hare. Good foods and loud noises ruled the whole night until 11 pm after f.o.c was announced and birthday song sang and thanks the almost drunk Song of the Gun. Mean See remained sober as she was needed to settle the bill later.

Johor Bahru Hash House Harriers 2247

Run No : 2247
Date : 02/11/11
Hares : Three Star & Zoo
Run-site : Ulu Tiram/Kota Tinggi Rd. 14m/s
Nanu-Nanu, this is Short cock & Disco Singh reporting back to Mother Ship, The Mother Fucker from planet earth at its equator, GPS P. 1.621442,103.81 6579, in a place the earthling called Ulu Tiram.
Here I observed a group of earthlings¡¯ of Homo sapiens species about to practice some sort of a sectarian religious ceremony. I later learned that the sect (chapter in their language) is called JBHHH in short and today ceremony (known as run no 2247) will be led by a Three Star general and a Zoo keeper they called Hares. Their role is to set a religious trail with paper marking whereby its followers will run, walk and crawl following it, probably seeking some sort of spiritual enlightenment.
Ceremony started with a group of ape descendents creatures warming up by kicking aimlessly a rattan ball which they said represent the Sun God they worshipped. They must kick it (hands not allowed) to prevent it from falling on the ground and failure means they will face the wrath of the Sun God.
Others creature, mostly female species, recognized by looking at the 2 lumps on their chest (some big and some almost flat) were seen busy registering followers who arrived in their ancient mode of transport with four rubber wheels and roaring loudly unlike the flying saucers we are used to at home. In total about 70 followers arrived and there were also guest from other sects/chapters.
At earth time 6.00 PM the hares shouted ON! ON! to announce the start of the paper chasing ceremony. The trail started by passing through a yet to complete flyover and there on passing through some ancient vegetation parks which includes a large track of land planted with a kind of herbal grass they called cow grass believed to have rich aphrodisiac value and according to some, it is most wanted by a few of its followers such as the 3 M¡¯s, Mongul and Moneycool and Mon Man Tai.
An interesting observation was the broken paper trail they called Checks, probably a point to gather its entire follower to pray by shouting ¡®Are You¡¯ and later On! On! for a save run ahead. After that, front runner followers such as Lao Chee and Siang Siang Mamuk will search to break the checks, 3 altogether with one back check, perhaps to penalize those who did not stop to do prayer. Distance of the whole trail was about 7 KM earth distance.
On returning from the paper chasing, followers were treated with foods and drinks provided by the hares. Among the food was a skinny worm liked substance wrapped in a leaf from a plant they called banana plant which bears fruit that looks like the Homo sapien male sex organ. A soft spongy thick skin wrapped with an unknown meat (still cannot confirm if all the sect followers are cannibal, although some followers such as Killer Heng and Long Cock already confirmed are). After that the followers cleaned themselves up with some kind of holy water they brought
with them in their ancient vehicles. Cannot understand why these creatures which just evolved from their ape¡¯s counterpart not long ago need to protect so closely their organs they called private especially among their female during the body cleansing process.
After the body cleansing, the followers proceeded to a ritual called Circle where they sit on low chair they brought in a circular formation. Just like any other religious ceremony, the ritual was started by a singing of their sect¡¯s anthem called Swing Low (very solemn indeed). Later their appointed female leader, The Grand Master called Ice cream presided over the ritual and put the hares to sit on ice in a ritual to honor them for making the night ceremony possible. Later the same ritual was used to penalize many members found to have broken their sectarian rules
officiated by an almost bald, short and walk with a limb gout infected Hash whip, they called him Handsome . (No whip was used though). There was an old white hair sect¡¯s monk who was also made to sit on ice for the unholy act of bringing with him two¡¯ too young for him¡¯ Tagalog speaking female guests. All offenders who were put on ice were forced to drink a urine like spirit to make them intoxicated after a religious hymn were sang on them. The circle ceremony ended with a song called Geylang. Before that those followers who were born in the same month
celebrate their birthday with a song and blowing candles planted on an excretion liked cake. What an unusual ritual indeed.
The ceremony did not end there; the sect¡¯s followers later proceeded in their ancient vehicles to a restaurant at Pelangi Indah nearby to enjoy a feast thrown by the hares to celebrate the successful completion of their paper chasing ritual early on. 3 bottles of the same spirit called Carlsberg were provide f.o.c. per table for the followers to get intoxicated which however were not enough, so they continue to buy from their own pockets to get into the
¡®High¡¯ feel they needed badly. Food served was not bad by any earthling standard. Both the Hares were sporting
enough to toast at almost all the tables, six tables in total. According to some, normally without their follower, Sex Can presents the songs Chai Chai Heng shouldn¡¯t be heard so often that night.
Finally the feast ended with many intoxicated followers left thanking the General and the Keeper for the free food and beers and later testing their driving skill on their ancient vehicles.
Nanu-Nanu, Short Cock & Disco Singh signing of for now and on our way in our flying saucer to my next assignment at a remote place called Pulai Jaya, also on this planet earth.

Run No: 2246 Venue: Ulu Tiram Water Tank
Hares: Fuel Pump n Killer Heng
____________________________________________________________________
Our two hares have, as some Chinese would say, big backsides, considering the big
number of guests from Kota Tinggi,, Skudai, Batang and P.J. not to mention first timers.
But hold on a second. It was a public holiday, being Deepavali. So I withdraw this wanton
remark. They don't have big backsides
The cohares were Killer Heng's Kota Tinggi mafia. So one wouldn't know what we would
be in for, Eventually it turned out to be a killer run like the hare's namesake; long and
very very hilly. Nowadays it is a norm to see nearly half of all runners checking in from
the run within 30 or 40 minutes, meaning just a leisuely walk in the park. For the rest its
good luck to them for having a never say die attitude.
A huge pot of tasty good old fashion Cantonese porridge with garnishings of peanuts and
anchovies greeted us when we checked in.The circle was, well, humourous / boring
depending who would give their opinions. Humourous because of Handsome's sexual
undertones. Boring because it's deja vu week in and week out.
We adjourned to Three Storey or Sar Low at Taman Gaya for the on-on. Two bottles of
beer FOC and RM10-00 for the good food. Another evening of letting your hair down. So
its good nite to you all till next Wednesday. On, On !

As I can remember, for the past few runs that we had the runsite here, the weather was wet, luckily today the rain has stopped, leaving behind puddles of water enough to get our shoes wet.
About 70 odds hashers turn up for the run.
At the sound of the neighbouring siren, the hare shouted “on on”. We passed the block of semi-D factory lot and at the side of Hitachi factory, walking along the fence that lead us to the back and into the actual run terrian. Many SCB’s not willing to venture in, just walked around the blocks. At about 7pm, the front runners were back, praising that it is a good run with 3 checks.
Fried stuffed beancurd and popia rolls were plenty for everybody.
Thank you hares for the finger food.

(Hainanese version): Today is Chong Yang Festival; aptly JBHHH has a run and a hill-climb; this Old Devil and Washer both have their run set at theSeri Alam Mara College. Not many come; but they were all in their usual boisterous mood and kicking balls. Even before time they thought of running! The beginning wasn’t so nice! We had to cling on to thefence, like chimps! Therafter thepapaer turned onto the right side; climb over a rubber mountain. The efirst check was a bit confusing! This bloke Killer Heng like a tailless mongrel, dashed about wildly! Two teams went shortcut; the headman of on eteam was Botak Yeng, another rteam followed the GM to walk out to the main road. This guy LAO Chee said they just ran helterskelter and there was paper!

(Hokkien Version): The whole run-route was about 8 km; enough sweat to drink beer! But the
Circle shrunk; a small coterie of sugar-coated chaps were scared the rain might melt them! Very early they went to the restaurant; these few cocked-up bastards must sit on ice next week!
After singing the songs, our GM called upon Old Devil and Washer to sit on ice; wah-my-cock! There were so many busybodies to ‘fit-hand and leg’! They were: Coca Cola, Joe the She, Itchy-itchy Kang, Yogi Bear, Wire Got Shorted and that specimen called Bulldog; these days buying Bakuteh can induce those greedy bastards to come and lend a helping hand! But that specimen of Bulldog ate the bakuteh and never turned up to work! Today’s circle was very noisy; many people were talking and Handsome Law had to
waste a few cups of beer! It is necessary to use the water-gun again! The Grand Opera finished well before 9! We drove to Foo Too for a big feast! The two head Hares were very generous, not only did they not collect money they also opened three bottles of beer per table! Thank you very much!

_____________________________________________________________________
It was an ideal weather for hashing. A cool evening. What I knew was many sectors of J.B.
were experiencing light to heavy downpour. The two hares were evidently not around to welcome us which houldn't be the case as they were definitely not involved in the laying of the trail. The ritualistic ball game was played at the entrance to the university by the road, presenting a clear danger to both players and motorists when the ball crossed over to the road divider. Don't they have a teeny weeny bit of cow sense?
Oh I forgot. Hashers are of low I Q.! A good crowd, considering those who did not turn up at last week's run at Pontian Rd made sure they would not miss this week's do.

The in-trail was the usual route leading into the mosquito-infested rubber trees. Many turned back at the fringe of the dark forest for fear of unwantingly 'donating' pints of blood
to those tiny predators. It was a long run by any standard, as attested to by GM Ice Cream
who voiced aloud the unnecessary need for this lengthy trail. What is to come of such unreasonably long run? To prove what? Perhaps to satiate the desire of those few who relish long runs.

Nyonya, being a Melaka baba provided excellent nyonya fare back at the wagon. It was everything and all thing nyonya. James Tay, a baba himself went into a litany of the various famous nyonya kueh. Kueh this and kueh that!

Half an hour into the circle a few who checked in from the run late were seen showering and then powdering their sterilised anatomies. The two hares Nyonya and Gou Siong were chastised for bribery, offering monetary incentives to Flintstone and a few others to lay the trail. The amount was clearly insufficient for a feast of chilli-crab, abalone, bak kut teh and beer for a party of four or five. Er, pardon me! Did I get all this right? Ha! LSB, Postie, Kim Chee, Big Potato and Lansi were some of those iced for the flimsiest of reasons. The two bulls, Bulldog and Bulldozer were honoured on the ice throne for going to be proud grand dads within a year. Congrats to both Ah Kong ( GRAND PA ).

Foo Tou restaurant came alive with the invasion of rowdy hashers occupying seven tables. It's FOC for the food and beer - very delicious and very intoxicating. Banyak kamsiah to Nyonya and Gou Siong, and of course not forgetting those nyonya kueh. Meet you all at our run at Ulu Tiram next week. Must come okay? New run-site. On ! On !

RUNSITE: TAMAN IMPIAN EMAS

Notice 1 :
Event : Torch Light Run
Date : 7/9/11
Venue : Taman Impian Emas
Damage : Members – Rm30-00 Guests - Rm60-00
OC : Zhu Mi Chon & Gou Siong
Venue: Taman Impian Emas Date: 31.08.11
Hares: Koh Kiam Chai / Bak Kua
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Arrival : What do you expect? A good turnout? National Day/Hari Raya coincided with
the school holidays=low turnout. There was an exodus of holiday seekers to the casinos.
Nevertheless, a good number preferred to stay back for hashing.
Goings-on in the "jungle": There was a rough and muddy patch of terrain during the initial
stage of the trail posing some difficulties. Still it was nothing that hashers can't overcome.
Then the first check. See Pay Song rushed off to look for the connection and duly
dissappeared, not to be seen until after the second check. His darling Anti Climax was
looking worried, searching high and low. "Has anyone seen my hubby?" she enquired of
everyone around right up to the second check. Our friend was still nowhere to be seen.
Well could I make a conjecture? See Pay Song while checking, came across a pretty
maiden by a river bank. He struck up a conversation and gained her trust. An amorous
relationship ensued. One thing led to another. Before long he was immersed in, well, a
quick "quickie" in the nearby bushes. Another checker passed by, heard the rustlings
coming out of the bushes and thought nothing of it; believing it was caused by some wild
boars foraging for food. Business over and voila! He reappeared into the hash scene. By
the way, please take all this with a pinch of salt. Okay?
Circle goings-on: Being the National Day we stood at attention while singing the Negara-ku
led by our GM Ice Cream. Hash whip was whipping away with gusto as many were under
his radar. A few were being penalised twice.
On-On and verdict: On-on at restaurant 63 with only four tables.

The weather was sunny good for that evening. The run was held at the Palm Estate in Indraputra, Kulai. The turn outwere lesser than usual due to the far away distance & some fellow hashers must have taken a break afterparticipated in the Miri Run.

The run started at 6 PM sharp. The usual front runners dashed to the front, leaving the back markers strolling &chatting away. The initial part of the trek was along the palm trek road. Hashers had to run zig-zag through palmtrack terrain before it came to a halt at a Tee- junction check point. Here the front runner must have picked up theAngpow laid by the Hare, probably 5 million rupiah inside.

It took quite some time for the FRB to uncover the missing trail & to get their orientation back in place. Some of thekind hearted hashers were seen connecting the missing trail. Many thanks to them for their efforts to ensure smoothrun for the back runners. Journey to the second check were treacherous, with up & down terrain to conquer.

The third checks was rather confusing. FRBs were seen running in disarray & in frustration in search for paper. Theback markers had caught up with them, probably they must taken a short cut route.

The front runners were back at site around one hour. The usually short cutters, the earliest to arrive orperhaps some, not running at all, were seen munching away the snacks.

The usually icing of the asshole defaulters were the calls of the evening.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Monk : Son, it's time to go and fill up the water containers and make sure it's full cos we have
a guest hasher, Orang Kuat, from Kuantan joining us today.
Son : But it's only 3 pm and the run starts at 6 pm. Don't you think the water will be to
hot to bath? I would prefer a cold shower after a long run.
Monk : Son, I understand what you mean but we have this skinny and weak uncle Dog can't
stand cold shower. And at the moment he is on a very expensive placenta
supplementation, we don't want him to get sick, do we?
Son : But dad, I thought you hashers are very strong. You guys would run regardless of
rain or shine.
Monk : Son, your uncle Dog suffers gout attack frequently and always SCB, that is why he is
so skinny and weak.
Son : What is SCB?
Monk : Short Cutting Barstard. Son, you see, your uncle Dog always SCB and coupled with
regular heavy drinking and smoking and for over long period of time, it's taking a toll
on his body.
Son : Oh! Then we should advise him to stop all these bad habits and start running.
Monk : But son, we are a running club with drinking problem and we can't stop hashers
from drinking, in fact, we would not accept those non drinking hashers into our club.
Son : Dad, it's 5pm now. Are we ready to go?
Monk : OK. Make sure we have all the running gears in the car!
Son : Where and how far is the runsite, dad?
Monk : The runsite is at KL university in Sri Alam and it takes about 30min from home.
Son : Aren't we going for a coffee break before the run?
Monk : If we have time, we can have a quick coffee, Uncle Ahyoyo and SeeThru already
called.
Son : Dad, today's traffic is pretty smooth and I think we may be able to make it.
Monk : Eh! You are right.
Son : Dad, your friends are still in the coffee shop. Are we joining them?
Monk : Yes son, you can get down now and order a coffee for me. I'm going to park the car.
Monk : Son, come and meet your daddy coffee buddies. they are uncle Ahyoyo, uncle
SeeThru, uncle LongCork and Uncle Joe.
Son : Dad, why is uncle Joe----uncle Joe?
Monk : Son, uncle Joe is not our member yet! There is why he does not have a hash name.
Son : Dad, it's almost 5.40pm. Aren't we going to be late for the run?
Monk : Son, the runsite is very nearby but anyway let's go.
Son : Dad, why is this Auntie reading newspaper under the hot sun when everbody is hiding
from the heat?
Monk : Son, this is Madam Lim(Loudspeaker). Newly wed and just return from honeymoon.
She is "Sin Chin Zi Lan Liang".
Son : What is "Sin Chin Zi Lan Liang", dad?
Monk : Son, when the heart is calm the body cools. Madam loudspeaker is currently at this
stage, that's why she does not feel the heat.
Son : Dad, it's 6pm now. Aren't we start hashing?
Monk : Son, the Hare uncle Flinstone is still waiting for his fellow Hare uncle MomMunTai's
call and your uncle MonMunTai is currently in Philippine, probably enjoying himself
so much so that he has forgotten today is his run.
Son : Dad, see! see! see! They are all started running now and are running fast. Aren't we try
to catch up?
Monk : Son, go slow lah. Still feel quite tire after last night heavy drinking with uncle
OrangKuat. You see, uncle ChinKu, uncle ShortKok and uncle Dog can't even make it
today. And furthermore, uncle Mongol and uncle SexCan are still behind us.
Son : Ok lah. But dad why are we going straight when the front runners and papers are
turning right?
Monk : Son, listen for(to) me. Your dad has been hashing for more than 30 years, and I am
sure the run will be an anticlockwise one. Very soon we will be in front of the front
runners.
Son : Dad, we have been walking for a lomg time now and we haven't seen any hash papers
or hashers at all. In fact, I could hear a faint On! On! call on the far rignt. Are we on the
the wrong trail, dad?
Monk : Son, you are right. Dad just made a wrong judgement today. This cunning Hare is
doing a clockwise run and try to make the hashers go through the monsoon drains.
let's u turn back.
Son : Dad, see! The front runners are out on the home trail and are dashing towards the
beerwagon. And the first one seem like a young man to me.
Monk : Son, he is a guest hasher brother PhuaChooKang and he has been running with us for
quite sometimes now.
Son : Why is he still a guest and not a member?
Monk : The club committees would have to decide on this. Anyway, what's the time now?
Son : It's 7pm, dad.
Monk : So, I guess today is a recent run since the FROPs are able to reach home in an hour.
Son : What's FROP?
Monk : Front Runners On Paper.
Son : Dad, are we going to shower now?
Monk : Son, let all your uncles shower first. we will do it last.
Son : Dad, it's almost 8pm. why are you still not showering? The circle is about to start,
you kown.
Monk : Ya, ya, son, can you first bring my chair to the circle and make sure we setting
beside uncle Orangkuat, uncle Mongol, uncle SexCan, uncle BigPotato, uncle
MoneyKhoo, uncle SeeThru and uncle Jockey. They are all your daddy drinking
buddies.
Son : Ok.
Son : Dad, who is this uncle shorty? It seemed like he can't even sing a proper hash song.
Monk : Son, behave yourself. He is uncle Handsome and he had been away for a month
from hash, let's why he is a bit dusty.
Son : Dad, why is this uncle MoneyKhoo can't even differentiate the title Dato', Datuk,
TanSri and Tun, and call you TanSi? What is TanSi?
Monk : Son, this uncle MoneyKhoo is a bit senile, he has been going around irritate everyone.
I think he is a potential Parkinson victim. By the way, TanSi means "waiting to die".
Son : Dad, It's almost 9pm, aren't we going for dinner? I'm a little hungry.
Monk : Patience son. Why didn't you have some food when you are out at the runsite?
Son : I thought it's meant for member only.
Monk : Son, let's go for dinner and I'm sure the Hares will provide us very good food. By the
way, FooToo Restaurant always cook good food.
Son : Dad, the food is really delicious. I love the fish with yam in the claypot, crab porridge
and the butter fry beans.
Monk : Son, then you better eat morre, for we all drink more than we eat.
Son : Dad, why are they singing the birthday song? Are the Hares actually born today.
Monk : No lah. This is to show appreciation to the Hares for the food and the organization of
today's hash event, especially when the dinner is FOC.
Son : Dad, are you still going to drink? It's pass 1am now and look, this uncle fatty is
already sleeping and uncle Flinstone still want to order the last 2 bottles.
Monk : Son, I think we better call it a night and he is not uncle fatty, he is uncle Bulldozer.
And please say thank you to uncle Flinatone to allow you, an underage child, to
participate in today hashing event, and also thank followig uncles who are willing and
able to accompany your dad to drink until this wee hour in the morning.
Son : Thank uncle Flinstone, uncle SohBig, uncle Bulldozer, uncle OrangMinyak, uncle
Bigpotato and of course uncle restaurant owner. ON! ON!

WHERE: TAMAN SETIA INDAH
HOW: From Taman Daya, drive past Setia Indah’s guardhouse, first turning on the left, turn left.Go straight, second turning on your left , turn left & look for HHH signs.

Runsite : Seri Austin , Date: 6th July 2011
Hares: Tan Chin Ku and Tan Bo Lai
Moh Mun Tai lah, I know this place lah. I was driving to the same old place at the one storey shop houses but when I got there there was nobody. Never mind, never mind, as usual, I called my good buddy Flinstone and not surprisingly, he kicked my arse lah and said there were hash signs all over the place. Sure enough, as I drove out, there were signs all over the place. Blame my Kwai Loh mind lah, always straight to the point, either you sleep with me or you don’t technique with women.

Alright, alright, we parked at the end of the road after the police station surrounded by residential
( and residents, young and old) and traffic on the other end. What a choice for hash run site?! Oh, I don’t mind mentioning that one of the female residents who looks 13 years old looks kind of
sweet lah.

On the first check , I went to the left but I noticed no one followed me. Few minutes later, shouts of ‘on on’ came from the right and I ran back. While running pass a pack, I did overhear a
comment ‘ Kwai Lo bodoh lah, always check to Holland’

The second check was either left or right but I noticed a light trail into the bushes ahead. As
usual, like I always say to myself, if I set the run, I would go that way. I did. Why can’t I just put on a Chinaman cap once in a while? Another good run back.

The running terrain was pretty much palm oil plantation, trail started zig zaging before taking us deep in before we realized we were too far away. Third check was still long way from home,
that’s what my gps said. It said left to go home but then I said to myself , this can’t be too easy, its got to be right.

So here comes a Kwai Lo way behind the pack led by Lau Chee, Si Beh Song, Iron Man finishing
the 12 km run. Wait a minute, my gps says 15km. Ok lah, if you include the bodoh checking and
the Kwai Lo Holland thingy, it should be about right lah. This run was too long lah especially for
the slow running bastards who got out almost at 8 pm.

I noticed the circle was moved back further inwards away from the hustling and bustling human
life. I scan around and noticed that our On Sec was the only Sweet Char Boh around. That gives
me some inspiration to sing my ‘ Chi eh char boh chin chia sui…..’ . GM took the circle and
mentioned that we were praised by Lion City and Seletar for the good Quad do. The circle was
then handed to the broken record player, repeating and repeating. I think you have to treat the
tumour by cutting off old dry skins first (plural, not one but many).

I don’t think we have been to this place at Taman Daya. The duck and chicken was pretty good. It was also very close to my favorite Goldmine Philippines paradise. What am I talking about, I am in Philippines now. Chinese saying, ‘why buy fish when you are in the middle of the ocean’ .
Anyway, thanks to the good hares for the good do, free makan etc etc. You better bring 10 ringgit for the makan next week, I got to save for a few BMWs in Philippines lah…..

Johor Bahru Hash House Harriers 2229

RUN NO: 2229
WHEN: 29th June 11
HARES: CHAPALAN 012-7718809/CONDOM 012-7512585
WHERE: TAMAN PULAI UTAMA
HOW: Take J.B. – K.L road, after Skudai turn left into Pontian

Hares : Chapalan and Condom
Run No : 2229
Runsite : Pulai Indah.
I got to the runsite early and the HHH signs to the runsite were already up. Good job to the hares especially this runsite that is not popular with JBHHH. Many old hard headed old
farts will get lost even if you dont put a sign to take them home.
It was drizzling when I got to the runsite. This place has a nice parking lot that we could use
as the runsite. I remember seeing a few early birds, as usual our Wonder Woman, Papa and
Mama.Other surprising early comers were Loudspeaker, Joe, Long Cock and Botak Yeng.
The run was called at 6 pm, there were lesser runners today. Maybe because of the rain and
also because it was this side of town. We started running along the edge of the Pulai Spring
Golfcourse pass the high tension lines until we arrived at the first check on the tunnel
through the highway. The FRBs started dashing in both directions in search of paper. The
check was taking too long.CCB ran back saying that he went a long way on the right but
could not find paper. Others on the left trail kept going but they did not shout on on.I
became suspicious and started checking back. Moses Gan, Cummi Chong and Bulldozer
also started checking back. It was taking too long and the check was still not found. Finally,
the group splitted and went in different directions. Some went back all the way via the
intrail.
At the circle, the two hares were put on ice and asked to explain. Apparently, 8 members
managed to find the trail eventually and completed the run. Anti Climax was one of them.
Lansi, Flinstone and Money Khoo took the circle as the mystery whips with much fun and
laughter.
On ON ON was at a restaurant nearby, about 5 tables. Oh, forgot to mention that the Hares
actually gave free beer through out the whole night. So, a big thank you to both of you for
doing a marvellous job.

WHERE: BANDAR DATO’ ONN
HOW: From North-South Highway, drive past Kempas exit & turn left into Bandar Dato’ Onn. Go all the way straight & look for HHH signs.

JBHHH RUN No. 2227 (15-06-201
STRINGING UP G-STRING’S RUN, LOINS UNCOVERED!
The run-site was at the bucolic and picturesque meadows of BANDAR DATO ONN, venue of the
International Kite Festival. The well-paved tarmac was lined with all our jalopies right up to the apex. The takraw team went even higher; they ascended a knoll to kick ball in a flat arena. The atmosphere was indeed very breezy and every eager-beaver was waiting for the hour for the onslaught.
Come 1800 hr Hare G-STRING (the other was his pillow-partner, GONG-JIAO) signalled for us to cross the road near the police barracks to enter the palms behind. The entire trail was rather flat and the two checks that were placed on the banks of the stream and the river were ferreted out by the front athletes within seconds and thus the run became a continuous non-stop affair. Indeed a naked trail with loins exposed! Initially the paper hedged below the high-tension cables and then curved back to follow the meanders of the stream; fortunately there was fallen trunk spanning across to keep us from getting wet.
Orang Minyak was standing gallantly at the other end to lock hands with the fair damsels like a trapeze artiste. Bravo, man! After this crossing the trail somehow came to the banks of the murky river. This riparian trail was a breeze for the FROPs and they sped off without even a whimper! Paper then veered back to the shades of the palms and reconnected with the estate’s main thoroughfare until we could espy the roofs of the Dato Onn houses. Coming out to the main road our base was about half a click down the road. It was not a very long run and the first finishers hardly break sweat! For the stragglers it was an adequate 70-minute stroll.
CIRCLE as usual started with vulgar gesticulation of the Swing Low followed by the warbling of two hash hymns by LSB; according to the GM he has lost his gusto since his recent nuptials. The GM then took the floor and exercised her executive and exclusive power for the first bite; she iced a number of offenders and also welcomed a few visiting hash dignitaries from Seletar, Singapore Thirsdae, GP, KT and the lot. The acting Batu Api SOH ARSE proved to be very spontaneous and witty in his prosecutions and in fact everyone agreed he should be confirmed for the post without having to consult the Gods. There were no shortage of floor-takers and surprisingly mild-mannered blokes like Safety Boots also clamoured for the floor; it is a good trend for these otherwise reticent fellows to be more pro-active. Hamper King somehow bore the brunt of the ice-sittings for some frivolous reasons; whatever!
The action came to a close at almost 9 and the GM broke up the one-ring circus and G-String announced that the On-On will be at this new eatery called BIG CHEF in SETIA INDAH (behind the police station); due to cliquishness some of the eight tables were half full! The uncooperative bastards simply refused to reshuffle preferring to congregate with their cronies! This unhealthy trait must stop! It is a big sin to see food going to waste! In any case the grub ordered was indeed at its high-cholesterol best for ten per head!
Thanks G-STRING and GONG-JIAO, and also not forgetting the tasty porridge at the run-site. ON-ON
PIG-BROTHER LIANG THE BOAR, DEFINITELY NOT A BORE!

The very heavy downpour before the run caused massive congestion along the major arteries and a near gridlock along Pasir Gudang highway. So, by turning into Mt. Austin from Kota Tinggi road, and thence heading towards Taman Daya, Bandar Dato Onn and emerging onto the N/S highway sliced my travelling time quite significantly. The runsite was somewhat dry. Perhaps the rain stopped much much earlier here.

There was a marked increase in attendance today, noticeably augmented by the presence of Aluminium Cock's buddies who would have been MATT (missing all the time). There was also a good turnout from the guys and gals from Kulai, Scudai and Gunong Pulai chapters. We were flagged off into the park grounds at one minute past six. The run which many resolute hashmen look forward to each week, too providing a good sweat and getting the adrenalin pumping into over-drive, turned out to be an anti-climax.
Awaiting them was a frustatingly short run. A trail in the form of an arc of a semi-circle near the vicinity of the Singapore P.U.B.. This short run was the result of some unforeseen confusion over the availability of the co-hares (we were led to believe). The common practice among friends in the J.B. hash is to show gratitude to any helpers by gathering and partaking of, preferably, Bak Kut Teh in a group.Anyway, amidst the bustle of today's run a hero emerged out of the blue in the lumbering form of Lansi. His beloved life partner, while attempting to ford a stream, was suddenly pushed down-stream by the swift-flowing waters.

Like a knight in shining armour, he grabbed an Indonesian worker's bicycle nearby, jumped on and rode after his damsel in distress. This heroic episode deserves a citation for bravery. The FRBs hit home in about 25 minutes. A few were f.......ng the hares for botching up the run . Wonder Woman had the foresight not to complain but to continue her own run after checking in. A group of SCBs led by Mongol checked in within an hour, covering a greater distance than the actual trail.

Likewise there was plenty of action at the circle. The hash whip Handsome with his keen eyes on wrongdoers was happily whipping away. There was no dearth of eager floor-takers, such as Moh Mun Tai, Ah Ngor and Pang Leo, all taking turns to liven things up a notch. Two would-be members had their applications approved and were given the hash names Kotek and Tai Yi Mah. Postie received his 1300th run pewter horse and Aluminium his 200th run mug.
Congratulations to all of them.

Nearly 70 ravenous hashers gathered round seven tables at restaurant 63, Taman Impian Emas for the on on. The generous hares provided free beers and at the end of the evening it was FOC for the excellent fare.
Terima kasih banyak banyak or thank you many many to the hares for an unforgettable evening. Thank you also for a sweet and amazingly short run. Variety is the spice of life. No? See Ya!

Driving towards the run-site rain clouds gathered above, threatening to pour down onto a parched landscape.
I found myself instinctively humming the children's evergreen tune we learned during our primary school days.
"Rain rain go away, come again some other day." Have I got my lyrics correct? Fortunately it held and the evening went about its business without hitch.

As of late I believe there has been a noticibly decrease in attendance for the past two or three weeks. Did the absentees popped over to Woodlands to attend the recent Singapore el ection rallies? No I think not. Just a cheeky conjecture on my part.

Run called at 6.00pm as usual. Left from the exit road and into familiar territory. Before long three groups of hashers went their separate ways. The diligent paper followers, the SCBs and the (enough lah) u-turn or back trackers. That's about all I can scribe on the evening as I belong to the third group as I trotted back to the run-site.

Menu at the run-site : Poh Piah, Mee Siam and watermelons. Thank you for getting me half-filled before the dinner. Maharajah then arrived and checked in. You must give him credit for he never fail to start his run even when he arrives late. As for the rest of the evening I don't know what transpired as I washed up and left to attend a meeting. You have to ask the others.

Thank you hares and cohares. On On!

Arriving as early as 5pm at the run-site I noticed the rattan ball game was already in full swing. The participants were practising hard in case the game will be voted in as an Olympic sports. So engrossed were they that they were quite oblivious of the goings-on around them. Would they have noticed if an elephant were to saunter past them? Em! I wonder! If there is a nation-wide contest for hashes, why JB hash would knock the day-light out of the others. The vacant square patch behind the row of shops was wonderfully cleared by our hare Lansi(so I was told) to be used for the circle. What a brilliant idea!.

The run started with Lansi briefing us that it’s not a long run with four checks.”But
please don’t short cut lah,” he hollered. Straight down towards the end of the well-paved
road with the new factories on the left and empty plots of land on the right. Now, this is where the run-site ought to be located in the first place. The road is long and wide enough to accommodate a few dozen cars and it runs parallel to the side perimeter of the factories and
not their frontage which means away from prying eyes. Can future hares please take note? The trail took a left along the road and then into the interior. A group of SCBs comprising Terko Liang, Curly, Mean See and Mongol tailed back towards us and mumbled something like “the papers led to an escarpment further in and its too precarious for us to continue.” By the way Mongol is now a full-fledged member of the SCB club. Welcome, sir! Unlike the FRBs , we SCBs occasionally stop to appreciate nature and smell the flowers.

Back at the beer-wagon there were plentiful finger food offered, Yong tau foo and two varieties of chai kuay and water melons. At the circle it seems to me that Handsome relishes performing as the hash whip and seems tailor-made for it. An array of batangs and chee bais were displayed on ice and whipped for various wrong-doings. The hares and co-hares for consuming Heineken instead of our official Carlsberg.Pang Leo and Kimchi for arguing over finger-foods. Hey ladies, please grow up.

We adjourned to Restaurant 63 for our hash grub. Sumptuous dishes and three bottles of
Carlsberg were proffered and all Foc. Thank you, Lansi and Tan Geok Siew for an unforgettable evening. See ya all next Wednesday!

Across the causeway and across the seas.

RUN NO: 2215

WHEN: 20th April 11

HARES: Coca-Cola & Chai Kow

WHERE: SERI ALAM

HOW: Take Pasir Gudang Highway, exit at Seri Alam.Keep left and follow the road towards Christine Golf Club.Look for HHH signs.

Run No : 2219 20th April 2011
Hares: Chai Kow and Coca Cola
If you mention Seri Alam, its second nature that these low IQ hash men will drive to the horse riding school. These days, this site has become a construction site, trampled with dirt laden Lorries disrupting our circle. So, the hares made a last minute decision and moved over to the KL University. Yes, a decision not enforced with hash sign thus leaving the whole herd at the riding school hunting high and low for the hares.
Seeing that the runsite was empty, Chai Kow woke up from sleep walking and drove to the horse riding to lead the convoy over.

The Co hares contract was awarded to Ithcy Kang and his gang. Yogi, back from Australia, was so eager to trod along that he will do it for a hot meal and blanket. This old fart will practically dangle along with any co hare in any chapter. The trail today was a close copy of the previous run here ( aka Itchy Kang’s run)
with more rubber estate. First check was in a palm oil plantation, it was a circular check. As we know this area so well, it was easily broken by Phua Cho Kai. This chap is one hell of a fast runner and also has age to his advantage. The trail went on the high tension pylons and this was where second check was. This wase more tricky as the FRBs were expecting a right direction towards home whereas the actual trail was on the left. Phua Cho Kai checked too far ahead and ran back commenting that he hit home trail. Wonder Woman and team (aka G string, Cuci Jamban) found the trail. From here, its all rubber estate territory. Full of mosquitoes, unevern terrains with dangling roots ever eager to snatch your ankles. To add salt to injury, the rain soiled the run paper and made it hard to find. Kiasu Kong Siew while trying to keep up with the
pack, lost track of the trail and almost got lost. His comment later was ‘ I was so scared inside there alone and when I could not see paper, I tracked back and saw Arse Hole who finally led me out.’

Third check must be easy since by the time I arrived, it was already broken. My guess is that our Kwai Low Moh Mun Tai must have broken it because he was one of the first to arrive home and I could sense he was bragging about it. Many FRBs were thrown off trail. Phua Cho Kai, Wonder Woman, Iron Man got out later than usual. The home trail was also littered with SCBs led by Ah Yo Yo, Money Khoo and Botak Yeng.

We had to hold the circle on the dirt patch since we can’t hold it on the road and block traffic. Old and grumpy Sex Can complained that it was too far to walk to the beer wagon. His complained was finally drowned by cheers of five crates of free beer. The circle buzzed on as usual with the mentioned of the oncoming Gua Musang trip and the Singapore Thirsdae anniversary run.JBHHH signed up a bus load for the later event.

For ON ON, we had to drive down to Johor Jaya. By the time food was served, it was almost close to 10pm. But with good hash spirit, nothing can take the joy out of us especially on a Wednesday with a song that goes ‘…if you never get Fxxx on a Wednesday night, you never get Fxxxed at all……ON ON

RUN NO: 2218

DATE : 13th April 11

HARES: MAHARAJA 019- 7256060/SCREWDRIVER 019- 7719690

WHERE: TAMAN PELANGI INDAH

HOW: Take Kota Tinggi Road, after Taman Gaya turn left into Taman Pelangi Indah.Go all the way straight & look for HHH signs

JBHHH RUN No. 2218 (13-04-2011)
THE SENIOR CITIZENS¡¯ EVENING WALK
The haring duo MAHARAJAH and SCREWDRIVER are the two senior-most members of
our Hash with a combined age of more than 130! Coupled with the co-hares, our imported
senior Aussie YOGI BEAR and the ¡®now-back-in-service¡¯ AJINOMOTO, it was indeed a
geriatric affair! The run-site at the arse-end of PELANGI INDAH is a familiar ground and
not much was expected from this oft-trodden terrain. BABA JAMES @ SCREWDRIVER
was there very early to do his duty taking the roll-call and broadcasting (don¡¯t forget, he
used to work in the BBC!) his oldies; that¡¯s about all he did, I suppose!
The run started with a stroll towards the pipeline and onto the foothills of the lofty peaks in
the background; Mongol led his tribe on a canter on the lower route to the posterior of
Puteri Park and teased the paper-adherents as they came down on the craggy path near the
quarry. At the wide gravel road paper took an abrupt left turn heading due south. Halfway
along this pebbled path the trail veered right into the thicket; this was the substance of the
run. All three checks within I was told was ferreted out by IRONMAN with the young Phua
Chu Kang (not from Singapore, but from Kulai) giving him a run for his money! In fact this
sturdy young athlete was the first to romp home in just under the hour. The home-trail
predictably came back via the new houses of JP PERDANA and then on to the silvery pipe.
The FROPs thought it was a stroll, the MROPs surmised it was just about sufficient to work
up a good thirst for the beer while the SCBs thought? Well, these bastards have no right to
venture an opinion!
Back at the beer-wagon, Screwdriver brought a pot of cereal broth courtesy of his wife
Lena, who was once our very active and vociferous ex-Harriet!; there was also a box of
mee-siam to make sure that we fill our tummies so that we eat less at the On-On!
The Circle started of course with the boring rendition (and vulgar gesticulation) of the
Swing Low and was followed by LSB belting out two hash hymns which the bemused
crowd wasn¡¯t very amused and didn¡¯t comprehend! After the Hare and the co-hares¡¯
mandatory ice-sittings and some brief commercials, the WHIP rolled into action and he
was, as in every week, the prima donna of the evening! This stand-up comic should be in
Hollywood! His antics and his hilarious impromptu translation (for the sake of Hokkiens
like Moh Mun Thai) were too bombastic for the plebeian crowd! PANG JEO took the floor
and iced a few of the naughty men who tried to get fresh with her! The scorn of a woman!
KIM-CHI proved to be a popular choice for the block and the poor gal sat until the deep
freeze almost infibulated her two-piece treasure trove!
The On-On at SAN-LOW in Taman Gaya was very well-attended and we monopolised the
whole eatery! This very hash-friendly restaurant was able to churn up some good grub and
is definitely worth our patronising; 10 per head were collected and there were more grub
and booze than the greediest glutton can consume or imbibe! KAMSIAH BABA! NANDI
MAHARAJAH!
