RUN NO: 2241
DATE: 21st Sept 11
HARES : GOU SIONG 019- 7705679/NYONYA 012- 7378188
WHERE: UNIVERSITI KUALA LUMPUR, SERI ALAM
HOW: Take Pasir Gudang Highway, exit Bandar Seri Alam, go past the horse riding school, lookout for hash signs (Universiti Kuala Lumpur sign) to turn left.
RunNo : 2241 Venue : Universiti K.L. Seri Alam
Hares : Gou Siong n Nyonya Mah
_____________________________________________________________________
It was an ideal weather for hashing. A cool evening. What I knew was many sectors of J.B.
were experiencing light to heavy downpour. The two hares were evidently not around to welcome us which houldn't be the case as they were definitely not involved in the laying of the trail. The ritualistic ball game was played at the entrance to the university by the road, presenting a clear danger to both players and motorists when the ball crossed over to the road divider. Don't they have a teeny weeny bit of cow sense?
Oh I forgot. Hashers are of low I Q.! A good crowd, considering those who did not turn up at last week's run at Pontian Rd made sure they would not miss this week's do.
The in-trail was the usual route leading into the mosquito-infested rubber trees. Many turned back at the fringe of the dark forest for fear of unwantingly 'donating' pints of blood
to those tiny predators. It was a long run by any standard, as attested to by GM Ice Cream
who voiced aloud the unnecessary need for this lengthy trail. What is to come of such unreasonably long run? To prove what? Perhaps to satiate the desire of those few who relish long runs.
Nyonya, being a Melaka baba provided excellent nyonya fare back at the wagon. It was everything and all thing nyonya. James Tay, a baba himself went into a litany of the various famous nyonya kueh. Kueh this and kueh that!
Half an hour into the circle a few who checked in from the run late were seen showering and then powdering their sterilised anatomies. The two hares Nyonya and Gou Siong were chastised for bribery, offering monetary incentives to Flintstone and a few others to lay the trail. The amount was clearly insufficient for a feast of chilli-crab, abalone, bak kut teh and beer for a party of four or five. Er, pardon me! Did I get all this right? Ha! LSB, Postie, Kim Chee, Big Potato and Lansi were some of those iced for the flimsiest of reasons. The two bulls, Bulldog and Bulldozer were honoured on the ice throne for going to be proud grand dads within a year. Congrats to both Ah Kong ( GRAND PA ).
Foo Tou restaurant came alive with the invasion of rowdy hashers occupying seven tables. It's FOC for the food and beer - very delicious and very intoxicating. Banyak kamsiah to Nyonya and Gou Siong, and of course not forgetting those nyonya kueh. Meet you all at our run at Ulu Tiram next week. Must come okay? New run-site. On ! On !

RUN NO: 2239
DATE: 0 7 t h Sept 11
HARES : ZHU MI CHON 019- 7705679/GOU SIONG 019-7782731
RUNSITE: TAMAN IMPIAN EMAS
Notice 1 :
Event : Torch Light Run
Date : 7/9/11
Venue : Taman Impian Emas
Damage : Members – Rm30-00 Guests - Rm60-00
OC : Zhu Mi Chon & Gou Siong
Venue: Taman Impian Emas Date: 31.08.11
Hares: Koh Kiam Chai / Bak Kua
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Arrival : What do you expect? A good turnout? National Day/Hari Raya coincided with
the school holidays=low turnout. There was an exodus of holiday seekers to the casinos.
Nevertheless, a good number preferred to stay back for hashing.
Goings-on in the "jungle": There was a rough and muddy patch of terrain during the initial
stage of the trail posing some difficulties. Still it was nothing that hashers can't overcome.
Then the first check. See Pay Song rushed off to look for the connection and duly
dissappeared, not to be seen until after the second check. His darling Anti Climax was
looking worried, searching high and low. "Has anyone seen my hubby?" she enquired of
everyone around right up to the second check. Our friend was still nowhere to be seen.
Well could I make a conjecture? See Pay Song while checking, came across a pretty
maiden by a river bank. He struck up a conversation and gained her trust. An amorous
relationship ensued. One thing led to another. Before long he was immersed in, well, a
quick "quickie" in the nearby bushes. Another checker passed by, heard the rustlings
coming out of the bushes and thought nothing of it; believing it was caused by some wild
boars foraging for food. Business over and voila! He reappeared into the hash scene. By
the way, please take all this with a pinch of salt. Okay?
Circle goings-on: Being the National Day we stood at attention while singing the Negara-ku
led by our GM Ice Cream. Hash whip was whipping away with gusto as many were under
his radar. A few were being penalised twice.
On-On and verdict: On-on at restaurant 63 with only four tables.
Run : good
Food : okay
Camaderie : excellent

Hares: The Hound Brothers ( Bulldog and Mongrel) Runsite:Desa Tebrau
Runsite: Good Parking, easy to find, nice park surrounding. Too close to residential,
occasional glare from on lookers.
Run: A good mix of the housing , pipeline and the wilderness ( or whatever that is left).
Front runner out in a good one hour, others trickled back and all back by seven thirty. There was three checks and although this is a very familiar runsite, the co hares managed to space out the checks and in trails well.
Circle:Quite a low turnout today, about 70 people . But life still carry on and our circle was buzzing as usual. It is worth mentioning that Kulai’s Peter Pang came to promote their
11/11/11 run.
ON ON ON – Makan was at Tan Chin Ku’s restaurant in Taman Daya. Food here is pretty
good, there were five bottles of golden fluid from the hares and the owner was generous to
add in another. There were seven tables of strong and hungry hash men and with free
makan, I would say…..if you never get fxxxed on a Wednesday night, you wouldn’t get
fxxxed at all…

The weather was sunny good for that evening. The run was held at the Palm Estate in Indraputra, Kulai. The turn outwere lesser than usual due to the far away distance & some fellow hashers must have taken a break afterparticipated in the Miri Run.
The run started at 6 PM sharp. The usual front runners dashed to the front, leaving the back markers strolling &chatting away. The initial part of the trek was along the palm trek road. Hashers had to run zig-zag through palmtrack terrain before it came to a halt at a Tee- junction check point. Here the front runner must have picked up theAngpow laid by the Hare, probably 5 million rupiah inside.
It took quite some time for the FRB to uncover the missing trail & to get their orientation back in place. Some of thekind hearted hashers were seen connecting the missing trail. Many thanks to them for their efforts to ensure smoothrun for the back runners. Journey to the second check were treacherous, with up & down terrain to conquer.
The third checks was rather confusing. FRBs were seen running in disarray & in frustration in search for paper. Theback markers had caught up with them, probably they must taken a short cut route.
The front runners were back at site around one hour. The usually short cutters, the earliest to arrive orperhaps some, not running at all, were seen munching away the snacks.
The usually icing of the asshole defaulters were the calls of the evening.

Monk : Son, it's time to go and fill up the water containers and make sure it's full cos we have
a guest hasher, Orang Kuat, from Kuantan joining us today.
Son : But it's only 3 pm and the run starts at 6 pm. Don't you think the water will be to
hot to bath? I would prefer a cold shower after a long run.
Monk : Son, I understand what you mean but we have this skinny and weak uncle Dog can't
stand cold shower. And at the moment he is on a very expensive placenta
supplementation, we don't want him to get sick, do we?
Son : But dad, I thought you hashers are very strong. You guys would run regardless of
rain or shine.
Monk : Son, your uncle Dog suffers gout attack frequently and always SCB, that is why he is
so skinny and weak.
Son : What is SCB?
Monk : Short Cutting Barstard. Son, you see, your uncle Dog always SCB and coupled with
regular heavy drinking and smoking and for over long period of time, it's taking a toll
on his body.
Son : Oh! Then we should advise him to stop all these bad habits and start running.
Monk : But son, we are a running club with drinking problem and we can't stop hashers
from drinking, in fact, we would not accept those non drinking hashers into our club.
Son : Dad, it's 5pm now. Are we ready to go?
Monk : OK. Make sure we have all the running gears in the car!
Son : Where and how far is the runsite, dad?
Monk : The runsite is at KL university in Sri Alam and it takes about 30min from home.
Son : Aren't we going for a coffee break before the run?
Monk : If we have time, we can have a quick coffee, Uncle Ahyoyo and SeeThru already
called.
Son : Dad, today's traffic is pretty smooth and I think we may be able to make it.
Monk : Eh! You are right.
Son : Dad, your friends are still in the coffee shop. Are we joining them?
Monk : Yes son, you can get down now and order a coffee for me. I'm going to park the car.
Monk : Son, come and meet your daddy coffee buddies. they are uncle Ahyoyo, uncle
SeeThru, uncle LongCork and Uncle Joe.
Son : Dad, why is uncle Joe----uncle Joe?
Monk : Son, uncle Joe is not our member yet! There is why he does not have a hash name.
Son : Dad, it's almost 5.40pm. Aren't we going to be late for the run?
Monk : Son, the runsite is very nearby but anyway let's go.
Son : Dad, why is this Auntie reading newspaper under the hot sun when everbody is hiding
from the heat?
Monk : Son, this is Madam Lim(Loudspeaker). Newly wed and just return from honeymoon.
She is "Sin Chin Zi Lan Liang".
Son : What is "Sin Chin Zi Lan Liang", dad?
Monk : Son, when the heart is calm the body cools. Madam loudspeaker is currently at this
stage, that's why she does not feel the heat.
Son : Dad, it's 6pm now. Aren't we start hashing?
Monk : Son, the Hare uncle Flinstone is still waiting for his fellow Hare uncle MomMunTai's
call and your uncle MonMunTai is currently in Philippine, probably enjoying himself
so much so that he has forgotten today is his run.
Son : Dad, see! see! see! They are all started running now and are running fast. Aren't we try
to catch up?
Monk : Son, go slow lah. Still feel quite tire after last night heavy drinking with uncle
OrangKuat. You see, uncle ChinKu, uncle ShortKok and uncle Dog can't even make it
today. And furthermore, uncle Mongol and uncle SexCan are still behind us.
Son : Ok lah. But dad why are we going straight when the front runners and papers are
turning right?
Monk : Son, listen for(to) me. Your dad has been hashing for more than 30 years, and I am
sure the run will be an anticlockwise one. Very soon we will be in front of the front
runners.
Son : Dad, we have been walking for a lomg time now and we haven't seen any hash papers
or hashers at all. In fact, I could hear a faint On! On! call on the far rignt. Are we on the
the wrong trail, dad?
Monk : Son, you are right. Dad just made a wrong judgement today. This cunning Hare is
doing a clockwise run and try to make the hashers go through the monsoon drains.
let's u turn back.
Son : Dad, see! The front runners are out on the home trail and are dashing towards the
beerwagon. And the first one seem like a young man to me.
Monk : Son, he is a guest hasher brother PhuaChooKang and he has been running with us for
quite sometimes now.
Son : Why is he still a guest and not a member?
Monk : The club committees would have to decide on this. Anyway, what's the time now?
Son : It's 7pm, dad.
Monk : So, I guess today is a recent run since the FROPs are able to reach home in an hour.
Son : What's FROP?
Monk : Front Runners On Paper.
Son : Dad, are we going to shower now?
Monk : Son, let all your uncles shower first. we will do it last.
Son : Dad, it's almost 8pm. why are you still not showering? The circle is about to start,
you kown.
Monk : Ya, ya, son, can you first bring my chair to the circle and make sure we setting
beside uncle Orangkuat, uncle Mongol, uncle SexCan, uncle BigPotato, uncle
MoneyKhoo, uncle SeeThru and uncle Jockey. They are all your daddy drinking
buddies.
Son : Ok.
Son : Dad, who is this uncle shorty? It seemed like he can't even sing a proper hash song.
Monk : Son, behave yourself. He is uncle Handsome and he had been away for a month
from hash, let's why he is a bit dusty.
Son : Dad, why is this uncle MoneyKhoo can't even differentiate the title Dato', Datuk,
TanSri and Tun, and call you TanSi? What is TanSi?
Monk : Son, this uncle MoneyKhoo is a bit senile, he has been going around irritate everyone.
I think he is a potential Parkinson victim. By the way, TanSi means "waiting to die".
Son : Dad, It's almost 9pm, aren't we going for dinner? I'm a little hungry.
Monk : Patience son. Why didn't you have some food when you are out at the runsite?
Son : I thought it's meant for member only.
Monk : Son, let's go for dinner and I'm sure the Hares will provide us very good food. By the
way, FooToo Restaurant always cook good food.
Son : Dad, the food is really delicious. I love the fish with yam in the claypot, crab porridge
and the butter fry beans.
Monk : Son, then you better eat morre, for we all drink more than we eat.
Son : Dad, why are they singing the birthday song? Are the Hares actually born today.
Monk : No lah. This is to show appreciation to the Hares for the food and the organization of
today's hash event, especially when the dinner is FOC.
Son : Dad, are you still going to drink? It's pass 1am now and look, this uncle fatty is
already sleeping and uncle Flinstone still want to order the last 2 bottles.
Monk : Son, I think we better call it a night and he is not uncle fatty, he is uncle Bulldozer.
And please say thank you to uncle Flinatone to allow you, an underage child, to
participate in today hashing event, and also thank followig uncles who are willing and
able to accompany your dad to drink until this wee hour in the morning.
Son : Thank uncle Flinstone, uncle SohBig, uncle Bulldozer, uncle OrangMinyak, uncle
Bigpotato and of course uncle restaurant owner. ON! ON!

Hares : Moh Mun Tai and Flinstone
Runsite : Kuala Lumpur University
Run No : 2231
Date : 13-07-11

Johor Bahru Hash House Harriers 2230
RUN NO: 2230
WHEN: 06th July 11
HARES: TAN CHIN GU 012-7985863/TAN BOO LAI 019-7795041
WHERE: TAMAN SETIA INDAH
HOW: From Taman Daya, drive past Setia Indah’s guardhouse, first turning on the left, turn left.Go straight, second turning on your left , turn left & look for HHH signs.
Runsite : Seri Austin , Date: 6th July 2011
Hares: Tan Chin Ku and Tan Bo Lai
Moh Mun Tai lah, I know this place lah. I was driving to the same old place at the one storey shop houses but when I got there there was nobody. Never mind, never mind, as usual, I called my good buddy Flinstone and not surprisingly, he kicked my arse lah and said there were hash signs all over the place. Sure enough, as I drove out, there were signs all over the place. Blame my Kwai Loh mind lah, always straight to the point, either you sleep with me or you don’t technique with women.
Alright, alright, we parked at the end of the road after the police station surrounded by residential
( and residents, young and old) and traffic on the other end. What a choice for hash run site?! Oh, I don’t mind mentioning that one of the female residents who looks 13 years old looks kind of
sweet lah.
On the first check , I went to the left but I noticed no one followed me. Few minutes later, shouts of ‘on on’ came from the right and I ran back. While running pass a pack, I did overhear a
comment ‘ Kwai Lo bodoh lah, always check to Holland’
The second check was either left or right but I noticed a light trail into the bushes ahead. As
usual, like I always say to myself, if I set the run, I would go that way. I did. Why can’t I just put on a Chinaman cap once in a while? Another good run back.
The running terrain was pretty much palm oil plantation, trail started zig zaging before taking us deep in before we realized we were too far away. Third check was still long way from home,
that’s what my gps said. It said left to go home but then I said to myself , this can’t be too easy, its got to be right.
So here comes a Kwai Lo way behind the pack led by Lau Chee, Si Beh Song, Iron Man finishing
the 12 km run. Wait a minute, my gps says 15km. Ok lah, if you include the bodoh checking and
the Kwai Lo Holland thingy, it should be about right lah. This run was too long lah especially for
the slow running bastards who got out almost at 8 pm.
I noticed the circle was moved back further inwards away from the hustling and bustling human
life. I scan around and noticed that our On Sec was the only Sweet Char Boh around. That gives
me some inspiration to sing my ‘ Chi eh char boh chin chia sui…..’ . GM took the circle and
mentioned that we were praised by Lion City and Seletar for the good Quad do. The circle was
then handed to the broken record player, repeating and repeating. I think you have to treat the
tumour by cutting off old dry skins first (plural, not one but many).
I don’t think we have been to this place at Taman Daya. The duck and chicken was pretty good. It was also very close to my favorite Goldmine Philippines paradise. What am I talking about, I am in Philippines now. Chinese saying, ‘why buy fish when you are in the middle of the ocean’ .
Anyway, thanks to the good hares for the good do, free makan etc etc. You better bring 10 ringgit for the makan next week, I got to save for a few BMWs in Philippines lah…..

WHEN: 29th June 11
HARES: CHAPALAN 012-7718809/CONDOM 012-7512585
WHERE: TAMAN PULAI UTAMA
HOW: Take J.B. – K.L road, after Skudai turn left into Pontian
Hares : Chapalan and Condom
Run No : 2229
Runsite : Pulai Indah.
I got to the runsite early and the HHH signs to the runsite were already up. Good job to the hares especially this runsite that is not popular with JBHHH. Many old hard headed old
farts will get lost even if you dont put a sign to take them home.
It was drizzling when I got to the runsite. This place has a nice parking lot that we could use
as the runsite. I remember seeing a few early birds, as usual our Wonder Woman, Papa and
Mama.Other surprising early comers were Loudspeaker, Joe, Long Cock and Botak Yeng.
The run was called at 6 pm, there were lesser runners today. Maybe because of the rain and
also because it was this side of town. We started running along the edge of the Pulai Spring
Golfcourse pass the high tension lines until we arrived at the first check on the tunnel
through the highway. The FRBs started dashing in both directions in search of paper. The
check was taking too long.CCB ran back saying that he went a long way on the right but
could not find paper. Others on the left trail kept going but they did not shout on on.I
became suspicious and started checking back. Moses Gan, Cummi Chong and Bulldozer
also started checking back. It was taking too long and the check was still not found. Finally,
the group splitted and went in different directions. Some went back all the way via the
intrail.
At the circle, the two hares were put on ice and asked to explain. Apparently, 8 members
managed to find the trail eventually and completed the run. Anti Climax was one of them.
Lansi, Flinstone and Money Khoo took the circle as the mystery whips with much fun and
laughter.
On ON ON was at a restaurant nearby, about 5 tables. Oh, forgot to mention that the Hares
actually gave free beer through out the whole night. So, a big thank you to both of you for
doing a marvellous job.
