Thirsdae Hash House Harriers will be hosting thier first Dinner and Dance party on 20 November 2010, Saturday, at Hotel Re!. Hotel Re! (Web: http://www.hotelre.com.sg/) is a modern retro-themed boutique hotel located along Chin Swee Road, the old Pearl's Hill Primary School. We will sit down for dinner at 7.30pm, at the new ballroom Re! Joice 2. The theme for the night: Mini Skirt Party ~ The Shorter TheBetter!

You'll enjoy live entertainment by our very own fellow hashers, dancing and breathtaking legs, amidst a delicious 8-course Chinese set dinner specially put together by the hotel's Master Chef William Ang.

For guests from Malaysia we have a special rate of RM$200.00 nett perperson.This rate is for early bird bookings on or before 30 September 2010.Thereafter, the rate shall be S$120.00 net for guests. There will be free flowof beer, wine, soft drinks and tea. Please make your reservations early as wecan host a maximum of 100 people. All sales are on a first come first servedbasis.

After the partying, you may wish to spend the night at one of the many stylishly designed guestrooms at the Hotel Re!. The hotel has offered us a specially discounted rate for rooms at S$140++ per room, usual $350.00++. Singapore Thirsdae HHH started with of a bunch of fun loving, hard running beer drinkers who meet once a week on Thirsdae (ops Thursday) to promote Camaraderie . They have since evolved upmarket with servings of red wine and food for kings. Of all the celebration runs that I have atended, they were the first to serve live oysters, yum , yum... They are a relative young Hash and will be celebrating their 300th run soon. Singapore Harriets 35th Anniversary Run

The event was held at the Changi Sailing Club, a good choice considering its club house facilities, swimming pool, the beach, car parks and a dose of good negative ions from the sea breeze. Support from the Malaysian Hashers were 180 strong, both men and women, mainly from Batu Pahat HHH, Kluang Gunung Lambak HHH, JBHHH, Muar Phoenix H4 and so on. This could have created an outnumbering force considering the total turn out was about double or less of this number. Going for the run was a novelty, first a short walk along the shoreline to the Ferry Terminal and then a short boat ride over to Pulau Ubin. Run on the island was split into a short and a long run, the former lasting about an hour and the later about half an hour longer. If I could recall correctly, ( sorry , after a few good cans of Tetlis bitter .. burp....) 20 runners did not get out until about 8.00pm. I was told the long run had some knee height muddy strecthes ( mudskipper territory). Back to the clubhouse, the ladies (this is afterall a harriets club...)called the circle to order and the visitors and home hashers were 'on down' ed. The night started with some home brew shows ( pretty dancing girls ?)from the host chapter and as the mood got going , the stage was turned into a disco dance floor. Food was plenty and very tasty, beer was free flowing the whole night. Many Thanks to the Singapore Harriets Chapter for the wonderful night....especially from the Malaysian Chapters.... esp for collecting our fees in Malaysian Ringgit !!.. if only the bus did not have to leave at 11pm...hmmm.....

Travel on ECP (East Coast Parkway) Highway towards Changi Airport and take Exit No.1. Travel along Loyang Avenue towards Changi Village. Turn left into Changi Village which eventually adjoins Netheravon Road.
