Run No 2164

Hare : G String & Kong Chiau
Runsite : Setia Indah

The Seri Austin runsite by the park is off limits to hash. There has been an exchange of letters between the Seri Austin management and hash with the former’s final letter stating that ‘ legal action with cost will be taken against intruders’ This has got to do with our last function there where we insisted on running despite ongoing construction work and subsequently littered all over the parking area.

How do you drive the message through the hashers that JBHHH, the father of all hash, as we claim, is a green club and we do not pollute the environment. How to stop this decaying of society from affecting the oldest hash in the world ? Walk through the parking areas and you will definitely see mineral water bottles and 100plus cans lying around.

We now have to settle behind some unoccupied shop houses as our runsite. This is temporary until they are occupied. One point worth mentioning about the car parks here is that there are actually lots reserved for the handicapped in every row, a good direction from the Setia Indah developers taking us towards a more developed nation. That did not stop some hashers from parking on these lots. Its okay, this area is not ‘operational’ yet but then we have suspicions whether these members, although looking physically sound, may be mentally handicapped..

The trail is as boring as one can set on a motorbike aka motorbike run or highway run. Just to get into the palm oil estate from the runsite is a 700 meters tarmac run. The rest of the trail is on dirt tracks wide enough for lorries. The hares did not bother to transverse through any ditch, streams, hills or any bushes. It was strictly a boring highway run. With only two checks, the FRB and the rest were widely spread out. While running, you would be lucky to see another one or two runners with you. That makes it a very boring run. Adding salt to injury, the run was long around 10 km and the home trail was a 2km stretch of tarmac running. That’s great for my old legs and loose joints. You guys are going to spent more money visiting me during my surgery. Well, the consolation is that everybody got back safe and sound. What can go wrong with this kind of ‘garden’ run.

On to circle. It’s the third week in office for our new hash whip and he is picking up speed. Sore Arse, Soh Big, Safety Boots were on downed for ‘MCA’ related events. Mind me, no politics in hash but joke wise, they ‘rekindle’ the fiasco that’s currently on stage. Moh MunTai took our banner 14095 feet high on Mount Kinabalu but chickened out without the banner being displayed. The cold overwhelmed his patience akin to an old man’s sex syndrome. ie ‘takes time to go up but quick to come down’. The GM on downed our Tan Chin Ku and Big Potatoe for ‘losing face’ in the Scudai HHH DnD boat race. We had two new boots who were christened ‘Red Ant’ and ‘Gong Gong’. These off course were ‘bought’, bought with two crates of golden fluid.

ON ON ON was at the HillXuan… next to the 7 eleven at Setia Indah, already a very familiar makan place with Hash. We did our AGM there as well. The hare ordered so much food and every dish was in big quantities. I could see Lau Char Bohs tar pau home, either to feed dogs or their husbands at home. Same same. Thanks to the Hares for the good effort and a wonderful Wednesday night … again.

BLASTING INTO THE TIGER YEAR!
It was a literal blast into the Lunar Tiger Year; the whole evening was punctuated with the loud blast of firecrackers and brilliant pyrotechnics. The run-site was at the ever-popular SERI ALAM EQUESTRIAN (now Big Valley Ranch) 大谷牧场 and the OC BULLDOG (哈巴狗) and his K-9 pack were there early to welcome us and the money-collecting portfolio was assigned to our ever-industrious JM Ice-cream (冰淇淋). Good Girl! As the takraw team wound up their noisy game, we gathered in front of the arch for a group shoot.
The run was befitting the festival occasion, short and sweet. The beginning was a stroll over the vast cleared-up land on the left of the ranch; this arid ground is earmarked for some cultivation and we could sense that another of our hashing habitat is fast vanishing! From the plains the paper then entered the unkempt rubber plantation which was a tricky trek, with tripping tendrils and spiky thorns! Paper emerged from this jungle safari and landed us on what Dongfanghong (东方红) said was the ‘Highway’! The papered trail veered right along this broad track and ventured to the vicinity of the Indon enclave. There were only three simple checks and as the pack was dispersed, no one actually claimed credit for breaking them; many SCBs stumbled on the paper long before the checkers did! According to co-hare Flintstone (火石), due to the pusillanimity of Bulldog and his pack, the trail was cut short to a premature end towards the right side of the paddock; it was supposed to traverse the high-tension and penetrate into the nether regions near the quarry’s edge. In any case, the front-runners weren’t complaining, considering it was the CNY Run.
Back at base, there were trays of finger-food that can even satiate the horses! And to top it all an appropriate tee with an emblazoned Tiger Head was given to spur us to a roaring start. As usual our sweet ladies extended their feminine touch to put things in order, doling out the tee, collecting dough, distributing tangerines and executing the menial chores. A slight drizzle didn’t dampen the merriment; OC Bulldog held the umbrella while our ten-tonner Anthony (暗灯逆) lit the cracker-fuses! What a racket it was! The highlight of the evening was of course the Lion Dance courtesy of the Pandan Sum Sheng Meow (三神庙) and the ensuing pyrotechnics. The twin lions left some configurations with the arrangement of the tangerine pulps for the punters to decipher and everyone was scratching his head trying to interpret the deliberate ambiguity! After the lions left, it was the turn of the GM to don on his Tiger image and he started us off with the weekly Swing Low and then he passed the baton to the Whip Handsome Law (寒酸佬) who, despite the lack of time, managed to rope in the New Year sinners! The ‘Tiger Show’ came to an end way past 9.15 and we drove in convoys to FOO TOO in Rinting for the CNY banquet with an upgraded menu from our usual fare. Thanks OC and your pack and
MAY MYRIAD THINGS GO ACCORDING TO YOUR WISH AND MAY YOUR BODIES STAY HEALTHY!

THE HIGHWAY OF TAMAN INDEC

Hello pundek! I arrived to the run site around 6.04pm. Upon arrival, I saw the run already started. Went to check in my name with the hare Orang Minyak. I ask him is the run long he told me about 15km. So I decided to do a short cut and went in. I managed to catch up with Botak Yand and the gang do just followed through.

Around 80 members and 8 guests turned out for this run.

The run begun from the road before entering the Oil Palm Plantation area. It was indeed a nice run until we reach the 1st checkpoint. The thrilling experiences and confusions set in motion as all the hashers were going in different directions to look out for the paper.

Luckily at last, we found the paper, said on-on and ran towards the right direction. or else the hashers will have more thrilling experience sleeping inside oil palm plantation area!!!!! I xame out around 7.15pm it was quite a short run about 6km.

At 8.00pm, the GM called for the circle, and as usual the WHIP took control and many hashers sat on ice for various charges. Around 9.05pm, the circle had been dispersed and we proceed to a Restaurant 63 at Impian Emas

We had a very good food by the hare and it is totally FREE for the members n guests.
All in all, the hashers had experienced a great run with a nice weather and delicious food. Thank you Aluminium Cock and Orang Minyak

Runsite: Seri Alam Lakeside

Wobbly was noticeably absent from the runsite today. He was admitted to hospital for some complications with the heart. If the information from the grape vine is correct, it has to do with the insertion of the condom related thingy in the arteries. Mind my pun. The other hare took up the gap with gust and was registering the runners as we arrived at the runsite. This was not the usual horse riding school but a canon shot away at the public parking next to the lake. It was more picturesque than the old place but parking was a bit of a squeeze for 100 healthy hash men of JBHHH. Besides the usual bangle of the sepak takraw team, there was cumulating groups discussing about the GP D&D on tonight and the contingent of 30 JBHHH strong attending.

The run took off along the edges of the lake, pass a few streams into the durian plantation area. Despite running this area many times and over, I have to admit that this run actually took us through some unexpected virgin run areas. The climb through the power line was exciting. The grand finale home trail through the scenic quarry area was a good after taste. In all, there were three checks and I would rate this as a very imaginative and thoughtful run of roughly 8km. As we arrived back at the runsite, the crowd starts to trickle down as some clean up, got changed and headed for the D&D.

Circle was called at 8.00pm in the absence of GM Bulldog who has joined the exodus. The next in command, Ice Cream , Joint master, called the circle to order. Luckily, our hash whip, Handsome, was still around to take the floor to an audience of 50 strong. Probably the low number showered down his enthusiasm and the circle was opened up to a few, ie Flinstone, Soh Big, Brandon. It was a Small group but with same level of fun. The water gun was again introduced into the circle.

We beeline off to FooToo for the ON ON . We still managed to fill up five tables sparingly. Hares were nice in buying four bottles per table. In all, FT, never fails in filling up our stomach, never mind the picky few with weird taste buds.

Thanks to the hares for the work in making again Wednesday the day of the week worth looking forward to.

ON ON
Doe a deer, a female deer…..Ray, a drop of golden sun…..Me, a name, I call myself….
who of wascorrective in a world of corruption, bribery and money politics, true ? And even in hashing too ? Well, suddenly, the crowd is back this Wednesday about 100 strong, could it be due to coincidence or the fact that the two hares are know for their generosity for free food and goodies …hmmm… I wonder….Somebody got to bring us back to hashing….
Even the Gods succumb to bribery today when the rain stopped prior to run that starts at 6.00pm. It was raining cats and dogs in the afternoon, so, we were expecting a treacherous and sticky trail today. The checks were too easy except for the second check which caught our Moh Man Tai running in circles. (since when is he not ?) The FRBs (front running bastards) were trailing too far ahead and the SRB(Slow running bastards) were tailing too far behind. Considering that the front runner was out in 1hr 15min, it was considerably long run since checks were easy, the spread was too wide and its getting dark earlier than usual now ( our Malaysian Winter time). Fortunately, all runners made it back albeit at almost 8pm following their fingers clawing in the dark rather than paper.
Circle was called at exactly 8.00pm. The hares were on downed together with their co hares aka Pussynomoto and Yogi Bear (Both love pussies , I bet). Hmm… co hares seems to be same faces over and over, where is the element of surprise now ? Hash is becoming a routine too ? The whip took over the floor and the notorious were punished. It was mentioned that we will want to maintain an international ‘hash shit’ standard of having a run of between 45 min and 1hr 15 min. Front runner will be the yardstick and it will be a challenge to get everybody together. Pan Jior took the floor and banished her close group of cheeky love birds. Here, we hear the intimate details of hash style love making in the bush……
Unsurprisingly, food was fit for the king with the Golden Treasures dish (Pern Chai, ie literal translation as Vegetable Basin) and to top it up, three bottles of golden fluid per table and finally, grand finale announcement of ‘free makan’ for all….now, that how you breed a new species of hard up greedy members. You can tell from the 8 tables crowd( actually 8 tables many squeezed into 7). My table was more special flowing with 2 bottles worth of Johnny Walker limited edition. Thanks to Tong Fang Hong from me and those at my table. Finally, thanks to the hares and especially all members which without them hash will not be hash……

COCK HARES: ZHU MI CONG & ITCHYKANG

RUNSITE: TMN DESA TEBRAU

JBHHH RUN NO: 2153 DATE: 13TH.DEC.2010

The usual run site Tmn Desa Tebrau car park is filled with early bird playing sepak Takwra and by17:45hr all car park places are taken up. A lot of talk kok and business deals are done during this time. On! On! Was called at 18:00hr all hashers were directed toward the right of the car park heading for the power transmission line. The FRH run along the pylons up and down 3 small hills ending up by the side of the Tmn Mt. Austin, whereas the SCB led by 555 detour to the right. Along the perimeter of Tmn Mt Austin some panties and bras were scattered by some physco sex manic. Becareful lau cha bo don’t run alone this physco may strip you for your bra & panties. The run went up to a very steep slope with a lot of hoo haa and many helping hands were there to pull up the hashers. The first check was placed down the hill where the mountain biker display the skill. I could not witness who found the check you know lah why? The FRB were caught off guard with a back check near the PUB pipe line and by this time all FRH, FRB,SCB were gatheed together. This second check trail veered to the newly cleared old oil palm plantation and finally led to a deep ravine, many hashers fell before going up to the rubber plantation. In the rubber plantation, you could only walk, can’t hardly jog. The third check was placed aimlessly at the end of the plantation near the pipe line. Those FRB got so familiar with the place, the check is easily broken and the first FRB clock in at about 19:00hr and by 19:15hr all hashers are out. This time the hares supply mee siam for finger food.

The GM called the circle at 20:05hr, all wearing red were called to lead our hash song.
Hares and cock hares were bestow with golden liquid. The whip called 2 dog trainers Botak Yeng & Cai Kow on ice for playing with the dogs. Others on ice were dirty monk and bulldozer for wearing clog, tong fang hoong, chong song and many more, the list will be very long.

ON ON at Natural restaurant, Tmn Johor Jaya. This time round LSB is not joining us, it seems something is missing during the On On, although six dishes and 1 plate of fruits were served all for Rm10.00/head. Also thanks the hares for 4 bottles of beer/table.
Well done to Cai Kow and Bo Chia Lan

JB HHH RUN No. 2151 (30-12-2009)
LAST FLING OF 2009
The run-site at the TIRAM WATER-TOWER has been pillaged by metal thieves, leaving gaping deep trenches after the RC slabs have been pulverized; the takraw team had to manoeuvre their deft kicks so as to avoid landing the ball into these abyssal chasms! As the crowd swelled to the regular hundred or so, the time for the onslaught arrived and the Hares LONG COCK and MONEY KHOO shooed us off towards the back corner of the tower. The descent was a bit dicey due to the many hidden holes; Falling Bumper indeed lived up to his moniker and fell like Humpty-Dumpty!
The Run, according to Moh Mun Thai, was too short. Due to the confusion of the checkers, some of whom deserted to become SCBs, there were conflicting claims as to the number of checks. Ironman, who was the first in, said there were four while Assassin Heng, who apparently was one of the deserters, said there were only three! Whatever it was, as the short run was cohared by a platoon of SCBs (Botak Yeng and gang), not much ‘sex-citement’ was expected anyway. The in-trail proceeded tamely near the manager’s bungalow and then slid left towards a shallow ravine only swerve on a very early right-hander, away from the pipe; it didn’t even venture beyond the slopes of the pipe. In typical fashion, the SCBs were in sixes and sevens when they stumbled onto the red paper early; one group led by Tongkat Ali decided to forge forward towards the pipeline while another led by the GM decided to follow the reds assiduously and ambled safely home in just under the hour. The frontrunners were all looking rather untested and were accusing and counter-accusing one another for the near fiasco at the penultimate check.
To compensate for the insubstantial run, the Hares provided us with some substantial post-run food in the form of a spicy nasi lemak, jack-fruits, curry-puffs and an assortment of kuehs! With such an array of nosh who needs the On-On! Just when everyone has cleansed himself, it was discovered that our Skudai guest Karak and his young friend were MIA! Fortunately this habitual slow-coach has the good sense of equipping himself with a flashlight and that indeed guided them home, albeit midway through the circle. In the absence of the Whip, who has gone AWOL, Flintstone, Moh Mun Thai, Cepat Masuk, the GM himself, So Big and Mongol all assisted in lashing the whip and woe-betide those asses on the block when they decided to sing Dongfanghong’s national anthem! As most of the whippings were done impromptu, even the most frivolous offences were not let off the hook. Who needs a valid reason anyway? That’s hash! The GM stretched the Circle until 9 and we adjourned to Greenland Restaurant in Pelangi Indah for the On-On; the Hares graciously provided three bottles per table and the whole do was declared FOC! Mongol and his obstreperous tribe were creating such a racket it frightened the non-hashing diners to beat an early retreat! No wonder they were serving the dishes like flinging flying saucers! The message was clear, quickly eat and quickly eff-off!
A BIG KAMSIAH FOR THE FOC DO!

JBHHH CHRISTMAS RUN 2009

Date 23rd Dec 2009
Runsite : Seri Austin.

Itchy Kang

Run No : 2150 Run Date : 23th December 2009
Hare : Christmas Run OC-ed by Longkang and Aluminium Cock
Runsite: Seri Austin.

They have built a nice shade with proper table and seating at the edge of the pond at this popular runsite. Unfortunately, there was some earthwork on this particular day and a scenic run site was shadowed with dust and piles of earth by the roadside. However, the roasted lamb aroma greeted everyone with gee and turned the day into a highly anticipated one. Turnout was pretty good for members of about 100 strong but light for quest. This may be due to the RM40/RM60 that we collecting for members/guest fees, putting JBHHH again first in Malaysia on the feudal system of high taxes. Not something that we are proud of but with all the complains pouring in, we are lamenting onto 30/50. Somehow or other, we have to get out of the bad mindset of money over matters mentality in hash.

The run was good length for our current weather of early nightfall. The first double back check was misleading and few front runners went off course and ended up running their own trail in this familiar run site. More hash bastards ran than usual as this run was expected to be short, very unbelievable for the combination co hares of Yogi and Aji with no moto. Either they had a fight inside or for this particular day, senility had a day off…

The GM called the circle and on downs the OCs. This was followed by some handy panky games and a limbo rock contest. Just imagine our Tong Fang Hong doing a limbo. I have to give credit to the decorations at the run site, there was actually a Christmas tree set up!. The hash whip monkeyed the final moments of the circle with his ‘be de bab, be de boob’ class of jokes.

We went on to Setia Indah ( restaurant next to 711) for on on on. There was only 5 bottles per table of free liquid. Somebody commented that how come with our high damages, we still have to buy our own beer? If the GM has senses, he will take note…

Alas, like they say, you can either pick on a million little unpleasantness or focus on one big hash orgy of comaderie, fun and laughter…..what a great hash night…

JBHHH Run No.2149
On On was called at 18:00hr and run started with decent descend down the hill into the oil palm plantation. The run veered left down from second hill and first check was placed at another uphill and easily broken by the FRBs but no one bother to join the paper. I joined the trail for the benefit of those slow hashers behind. After a while down hill the trail came to a longkang, Jimmy Choon jumped and missed his target, got his leg struck in the mud and need someone to pull him out. The second check was near the pylons caught many FRBs searching high and low around the hill. By this time many slow runners caught up with the FRBs. After 10 minutes Killer Heng found the check along the pylon and it was a back check. Along the pylons up and down the hills many hashers are complaining and grasping for more air. Heard, fucking hares so many hills!! Want to kill us hah!! Final check near the pipe line and home was all along the pipe line with 3 very steep hill slopes to climb. I took 75minutes to complete the run and all drain out ,dehydrated !
Look like a must tradition to provide finger food for the hungry hashers to refill their energy. Juicy water melons was available beside water and 100 plus to ease the thirst. Four SCBs Lan Si, Terko Liang, Tong Fang Hong and Son of Gun got lost and ended at Puala, mobile one race to their rescue. Circle was called at 20:02hr we sang sing low and 2 hash songs. Hares and cock hares Siang2 mabok, bulldozer were on down with golden fluid. Welcome our old hasher King Kong to visit us. Kim Chee became itchy with Chong song when LSB is not around, both were on down. While in the circle many hashers receive phone call and everyone guessing it is orang minyak called. But false alarm, orang minayak got lost when he is the last one to go in. Until circle is over he is yet to be heard or seen. Finally, he got a hitch from a Malay Samaritan all the way from Saujana near Tai Tak Estate to run site at 21:15hr.
ON ON was at Taman Pelangi Indah Retoran Hang Fang .Happy birthday to hares for 3 bottles of beer per table. Food was good but atmosphere was spoiled by slight drizzle. At 23:15hr I left and there is still 1 table with So Big, Bulldozer, Lau Chee, and about 10 hashers still drinking.
Thanks to Ash Soo and Shit Ass and also cock hares.
ON ! ON !
